Our founder

Emma Loyns is a professional musician and qualified school music teacher. Following the arrival of her daughters in 2007 and 2008, Emma began a successful business journey as owner of Monkey Music Vale & Bridgend and Monkey Music Cardiff.

The Tiny Treehouse was founded in 2023 after the pandemic forced many community spaces to close and the need to support young families became apparent. The Tiny Treehouse had been a lifelong vision of Emmas. A central trunk with branches that reach out to various communities. From support to new parents, to a safe space for little ones to play, to a creative learning environment. The space was created but continues to grow, just like a real tree!
