Terms & Conditions

·       Once payment has been received and when entering The Tiny Treehouse, you are fully accepting and agreeing to abide by the rules of play, disclaimer, play rules, terms and conditions, health and safety policy, child protection and our privacy policy. 

·       The Tiny Treehouse reserves the right to refuse admission, remove from the premises without right to a refund, any person whose presence or behaviour may affect the enjoyment and/or safety of other guests or staff. This will be enforced if required through police action.

·       Any discrepancies with the cost of entry / food must be brought to our attention whilst you are still in the play centre. This cannot be looked into once you have left.

·       When ordering refreshment please make any allergies known to staff, We cannot guarantee our kitchen is free from allergens and can only accommodate preference.

·       We reserve the right to deny admission or to require a person already admitted to leave the centre without refund, liability or compensation if we consider that the circumstances so require.

·       You are consenting to us keeping your personal information for membership / insurance reasons. This will not be shared with any other company for marketing reasons. If you no longer want to be a member you can request for your details to be destroyed.

·       If you opt in at booking you are agreeing to receive special offers and marketing information from The Tiny Treehouse. You can

·       Birthday cakes are not allowed to be brought into the centre unless it is part of a party booked with us.

·       Your session duration includes play time on the equipment. You will not be allowed to overstay your session.

·       Please do not enter the play centre before your allotted time slot. Each sensory room booking entitles you to 1 hours use of the sensory space at the allotted time and play in the play space strictly within the opening hours for that day.

·       Additional services can be added on but must be paid before use eg sensory room, tea and coffee facility

·       We also kindly ask that your leave promptly at the end of your session in order for us to clean and prepare for the next session.

·       You must check in on entry. Entry only valid on the day/time detailed on your booking confirmation. You may be asked to verify your child’s age on entry.

·       You are agreeing to The Tiny Treehouse contacting you in relation to your purchase.

·       We reserve the right to close the Treehouse early. Please see our Facebook page for updates or call ahead to avoid disappointment.

·       We will not accept offensive behaviour towards our staff or other customers. This includes using profanity or engaging in unsafe, illegal or disruptive behaviour.

·       Parents and guardians are responsible for the supervision and behaviour of their children at all times. Older children are not permitted to enter the Sensory room without exclusive permission, not even to supervise younger children. The Tiny Treehouse staff are not provided to supervise children.

·       All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult (aged 18 and over) when visiting The Tiny Treehouse.  Responsible adult must always remain in the building. No children will be allowed to attend without an adult and vice versa.

·       Only children under the age of 5 years are allowed in the tplay space area with adult supervisor required at all times. In case of a party discretion is offered for ages of guests but children must use the equipment with care and respect.

·       For safety reasons, it is forbidden to climb on the fixed equipment and table. Balls or other objects should not be thrown at each other. Items should not be thrown down the slide e.g. toys.

·       Members of staff monitor the play frames and have access to a first aid kit. In the event you have a problem or any concerns, please talk to the manager or supervisor. Bumps and bruises are inherent in play and it is impossible to eliminate all risks. However, we have risk assessments and policies in place with mitigating factors to reduce the risks as much as possible.

·       The Tiny Treehouse does not accept responsibility for the loss / damage of personal belongings.

·       Our staff are responsible for the monitoring and usage of the equipment. Supervision of children is the responsibility of the parent / guardian.

·       We reserve the right to alter times, prices, menus, and equipment without notice.

·       We reserve the right to close the play area, sensory space and remove equipment from use during our trading hours for any reason, without compensation.

·       Tables are not guaranteed with entry during busy periods.

 

 

Refund/ cancellation policy

Tickets are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Tickets can be moved at the managers discretion (subject to availability). Minimum of 48 hours notice required and an admin fee may apply. Bookings can only be moved once.

Your general admission booking is only valid for the date / time booked.

No refunds can be issued for unattended play sessions.

Amendments can only be made by the person who made the original booking.

 

 

Rules of play

No photography or video is allowed without prior permission

No food drink or chewing gum is allowed in the play area

No glassware is allowed in the play area

Remove shoes before entering the play area, but please wear socks at all times.

Please remove all jewellery, badges and other sharp objects

Always descend the slide in a seated position with legs facing forward. Children / adults must not climb up the slides or play in front of the slide exits

Children who are unwell should not use the play area equipment

Leave all personal items such as money, mobile phones or keys with parents / guardians outside the play area

Children who wear glasses or contact lenses should take extra care

No liability will be accepted for any losses, damages or theft of personal property

 

Disclaimer

We are pleased to provide this facility and whilst we have attempted to make it as safe as possible, the very nature of children’s play activity means that accidents can occasionally happen. We cannot therefore accept responsibility for injury or damage to children or clothing whilst using the play area. Parental supervision is essential.

 

Sensory Room

·      Hire of the sensory room must be prebooked or added as an extra to your play session at the venue. Payment is required before use.

·      Use is limited to the allocated time slot unless otherwise agreed with management.

·      The Sensory room is unsupervised, and an adult (over 18) must attend with child and remains responsible for appropriate use of the equipment.

·      Any damages must be reported to management right away.

·       We reserve the right to remove equipment without explanation.

Party booking terms and conditions

·       There is a £50 non-refundable deposit required to reserve all parties. The remaining balance is payable 14 days before the party.

·       No refunds are available once the balance has been paid. If we have to close the play centre or the party cannot go ahead due to our cancellation, then a refund will be given or the party can be moved to another date if you choose.

·       If the balance is not paid 5 days before there will be a late charge of £25. If the balance is not paid for by 2 days before unfortunately the party will not go ahead.

·       If you need to rearrange the party, please give us as much notice as possible. If this is within the 7 days before the party then there will be a moving fee of £45.

·       Final numbers must be confirmed no later than 2 days before the party. Maximum recommended guests at The Tiny Treehouse is 20 children.

·       The parent/organiser should inform staff of any dietary requirements/allergies at the time of the final payment.

·       If you wish you can provide your own table cloth / party wear. These can be dropped off the day before and will need to be clearly labelled with the party name, date and time. Any additional decorations for the party room will need to be done on arrival as there may be a party before. The party organiser may be able to come in to the party room 30 minutes before the party to set up. Please be careful when putitn up banners / decorations stuck to walls or doors as it can damage the paintwork.

·       Balloon displays / any decorations must be removed from the party room at the end of the party and taken with the party host.

·       The party guests must not arrive any earlier than the designated party time or they will be asked to wait before entering.

·       The children at the party are not the responsibility of The Tiny Treehouse. Parents/organisers are responsible for all the children at the party. There must be a minimum of 3 adults supervising the party at all times as the parties do not include supervision of the children. If children are dropped off at the party without an adult, they are automatically the responsibility of the party organiser who booked the party. Please ensure you have all contact numbers and relevant health / allergen information about children being left in your care.

·       Parents/organisers should familiarise themselves and abide with the rules of play, terms and conditions, Health policy  (if applicable) children’s play area disclaimer, fire exits, toilets and first aiders (manager and supervisor).

·       If you are booking your own entertainment e.g., photographers / face painters/ mascot, please double check with us before booking. We can only allow external entertainers that have their own public liability, risk assessment and DBS.

·       30 minutes before the end of the party, the party host will  speak to the organiser to allow time to give out party favours and collect belongings. The organiser and all guests should vacate the premises no later than the party end time. If organiser/guests want to stay after the party, this can be arranged and paid for at the reception desk (space/availability depending). However, parties that ‘run over’ will incur a late fee to the equivalent of £50 per hour.

·       You are welcome to bring a cake to the party but the cake must be nut free. If the organiser is giving the cake out to the children to take home they are required to cut the cake themselves and provide their own napkins. All allergy information regarding the cake must be given out by the party organiser to all guests and is not the responsibility of The Tiny Treehouse. No party food can be eaten outside the party room or near the play equipment. This is in line with Natasha’s law. If the cake is being eaten during the party, we require the party organiser to sign a disclaimer.

·       No party food can be eaten on or near the play equipment and must be consumed in the party room.

·       Timings of the party will be explained to the organiser at the start of the party by the party host.

·       Helium balloons must be weighted down.

 

SELF-HOSTED PARTIES

·       Self hosted parties must be left in the same condition as found. This includes cleaning and return of all equipment. We recommend taking visual photos for reference before your party starts.

·       Kitchen can be used but access to private cupboards and any foods in cupboards and fridge remains restricted.

·       If you have ordered the tea and coffee facility this will be set up ready for use. Please ask the party host for refills. You will be instructed on use before the party. Please take care when using the urn, you do so at your own risk. It is your responsibility to wash and dry the cups at the end of the session.

·       Please report any damages or breakages to the party host, You must ensure you take every action to reduce the likelihood of damages or use that may cause a safety risk to children using the space. (for example picking up loose items during the party and ensuring a clear walking path)

·       No equipment can be taken into the kitchen. No children allowed in the kitchen.

·       No access to upstairs without permission or supervision by staff.

·       All rubbish must be disposed of at the end of your session. Please bring black bags,

·       Any damages will incur a charge. A refundable £50 deposit will be kept incase of damage and/or late vacation of the building. The deposit will be returned to you within 5 working days after the party subject to satisfactory return of the venue and equipment.

 

HOSTED PARTIES

·       Self hosted parties must be left in the same condition as found. The party host will clean and return equipment and the play space before, during and after your session.

·       If you have ordered the tea and coffee facility this will be set up ready for use. Please ask the party host for refills. You will be instructed on use before the party. You may request that your party host operates the tea and coffee for you. The host will clean and restock all equipment.

·       Please report any damages or breakages to the party host, You must ensure you take every action to reduce the likelihood of damages or use that may cause a safety risk to children using the space. (for example, picking up loose items during the party and ensuring a clear walking path)

·       No equipment can be taken into the kitchen. No children allowed in the kitchen.

·       No access to upstairs without permission or supervision by staff.

·       All rubbish must be disposed of at the end of your session. Please bring black bags,
